Mobile Applications Developer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Looking for a talented and passionate Senior Mobile App Developer who wants to make an impact in the medical and education space. We are seeking an experienced developer who will help us build and enhance mobile applications that are used by thousands of healthcare providers and patients worldwide for the latest in acute and long-term care facilities. Also provide those capabilities to education professionals on school campuses and classroom environments. The Senior Mobile Application developer participates in the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mobile development and will be able to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced, agile environment. Integrating with RESTful API backend services.
Accountabilities:
Product
o Architect and design complex, highly interactive iOS and Android mobile application solutions
o Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle from requirements review to product verification
o Help to grow our automation test capability
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills and a clear understanding of development best practices
o Create or review:
Software architecture and detailed design documents
Software verification plans
Software build and deployment plans
Drive upstream code quality initiatives
People
o Work with the system/software architect to design and code solutions.
o Work with verification and validation engineers to resolve test failures.
o Work with the technical support group to troubleshoot field problems.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
5+ years of hands-on experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android operating systems.
Understand iOS & Android interface components and differences between those platforms
Have experience with mobile application development, debugging, troubleshooting and abstract problem-solving
Experience with automation testing for mobile applications.
Experience mentoring and leading a team of developers is a huge plus.
Experience writing robust, pragmatic code following design patterns/anti-patterns.
Experience with the current version of the iOS and/or Android SDKs
5+ years of experience with many of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, HTML5, Python, Objective-C
Experience using cross-platform framework Xamarin
A plus if you have experience Flutter, Kotlin, React Native, Swift
Experience with HTML5 and CSS
Experience with various app deployment mechanisms including MDM solutions.
Experience with Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git-based source control
Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipeline for mobile applications
Experience working with product managers, QA, designers and business stakeholders
Experience with Agile methodologies to align with business priorities, break down work into Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and iterate quickly on product changes
