Role: Sr. DevOps Engineer

Location: Dallas, TX (WFH till Pandemic)

6-12 Months Contract W2/C2C

Must have skills:

• 9+ years of overall IT experience, including 6-8 Years of DevOps experience.
• Strong scripting skills, troubleshooting skills, experience with Config manager tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet.

Responsibilities

• Python and Terraform scripting, Shell scripting, setting up alerts
• Troubleshoot and debug issues within the GCP environment and provide resolution where possible
• Migrate existing alerting infrastructure into GCP
• Create and configure WAF requests to manage traffic distribution and Disaster Recovery Configuration
• Awareness of Oracle DB, Couchbase, Casandra
• WAF implementation - in GCP cloud armor
• PowerShell terraform (90% Windows + 10% Linux)
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Create detailed run books for various application alerts
• experience with Infrastructure as a code is required
• Experience with Splunk, App Dynamic's.
