FloatMe is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Devops Engineer to join our growing team. You will report to the Director of Engineering and assist with all Devops functions. As a Sr. Devops Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying systems that can benefit from automation, monitoring and infrastructure-as-code. You will develop scalable products/services and establish, maintain and evolve concepts in deployment pipelines for existing and new services. Your day will consist of writing code and monitoring application health and security.

Job Description
FloatMe is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Devops Engineer to join our growing team. You will report to the Director of Engineering and assist with all Devops functions. As a Sr. Devops Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying systems that can benefit from automation, monitoring and infrastructure-as-code. You will develop scalable products/services and establish, maintain and evolve concepts in deployment pipelines for existing and new services. Your day will consist of writing code and monitoring application health and security.
Our tech stack:
- AWS SQS, S3, Lambda (Golang), RDS, API Gateway, Terraform
- PostgreSQL/DynamoDB
- Typescript (React) - Web
- Dart (Flutter) - Mobile
- Git - Github/Github Actions
- Use Terraform to automate deployments in AWS
- Be available for on call rotation of system environments
- Collaborate with the development team to build automation for deployments
- Build the monitoring infrastructure to ensure application uptime
- Perform security system audits on a regular basis
- Write code to enable automation of systems and processes
- 3-5 years experience developing in Golang or Python
- Have expertise in designing, deploying, and monitoring a highly scalable microservice based environment
- Experience with github actions
- Experience with working in an Agile environment
- 3+ years of experience working on an AWS environment
- Familiarity with vpc, iam policies, security audits and microservices architecture

- Salary: $130,000-$170,000 dependent on experience, location, etc.
