Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Architect (.NET)
- Onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio
The Role:
Do you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of cloud development within Azure, C# and .NET? If so we have a role for you. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Architect (.NET).
The successful candidate will lead architecture/development efforts for cloud interaction with new, current, and future cutting-edge, wireless IoT devices.
The key responsibilities of a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Architect (.NET) include, but are not limited to:
• Manage existing software projects
• Working in other areas of the full product lifecycle and the IoT ecosystem, such as mobile app development and production/manufacturing (e.g. IoT device configuration).
• Develop new and exciting software projects
• Designing and coding sound technical solutions of superior quality
• Translating customer requests into a working software solution
• Perform and/or assist in debugging, troubleshooting and resolving application and data integrity issues
The Person:
The key skills and qualities of a Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Architect (.NET)include:
• 5+ years of cloud development within Azure, C#, and .NET
•Azure App Services
•Azure Functions
•Azure IoT Hub
•MQTT broker, other IoT communication
•Database management
SQL Server
Experience as lead and/or sole contributor on large scale projects
Source/version control (git)
Strong problem-solving skills
Local, serial communication from PC to devices a plus (USB RS232)
FTP server experience (e.g. OTA file hosting)
Node.js experience a plus
Mobile app development a plus
iOS/Swift, Android/Java
BLE experience a plus
DevOps, CI/CD a plus
