Job summary
Working with the Legal Compliance & Corporate Governance Technology (LCG) group, you will be responsible for providing a reliable, robust and fast release management system by maintaining and evolving the automated build/test farm infrastructure (Computers, Tools, Database, Servers, scripts, etc.). We are seeking a passionate DevOps specialist for various technologies & tools used by our application teams.
What you will do
-Assist with onboarding applications to the automated release pipeline
-Ensure a consistent and fast deployment pipeline
-Develop tooling/utilities for automation and reduction of toil
-Continuous monitoring and improvement of infrastructure for performance, stability, scalability, and security.
-Work closely with application teams to ensure software deployment readiness
-Work on various upgrades and migrations ? platforms, frameworks, vendor applications, etc.
Required Technical Skills:
-Strong SRE experience along with automated build tools, continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts.
-Experienced in Agile development lifecycle
Hands-on experience with the following:
-Programming languages: Python, Shell
-Database platforms: DB2/MSSQL
-SCM tools: GIT
-Continuous integration Tools: Jenkins
-Web servers: Tomcat/Apache
-Operating systems: Unix
Good knowledge of:
-Programming languages: Perl, batch
-Database platforms: PostgreSQL
-Cloud-based environments such as: AWS and Azure
-Container platform: Docker
-Operating systems: Windows
Desired Technical Skills:
-Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk and Prometheus
-Build automation tools: Ant, Gradle, Maven
Required Aptitudes
-Ability to add value by bringing new ideas to the team and taking the initiative in improving the existing processes.
-Ability to take new requirements from the application teams to bring back to the core team build additional tools and automation.
-Passion for innovating and using technology to find creative solutions to optimize systems.
-Eager to learn and be in sync with what is happening in technology, DevOps/SRE, both in and outside the firm.
Educational qualification and experience:
-Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or MCA from recognized institution
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
-Language requirements: Must be able to work in an English-speaking environment
