Kforce has a client in search of a Staff SW Engineer (.NET Core, Azure) in Austin, TX. Summary: As a member of the engineering team, you will be collaborating with our talented engineers and designers to build the next generation data products. Work includes high-speed processing, analytics, and general sciences. Our development engineers are passionate about their craft and revel in shipping software that improves patient care. Reporting to the Manager of Development, Analytics you will be part of our Engineering team based in our Austin, Texas office. You can expect to work across the whole stack from front-end through back-end services, containers, serverless, DevOps, SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, and Scala (to name a few). REQUIREMENTS:
- Data engineering (high-volume data-processing and reporting): stream processing and related concepts
- Messaging and distributed systems
- C#, SQL, and the .NET Framework
- Git for source control
- Cloud Platform knowledge: Azure (or similar)
- Have exposure to Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices
- Familiar with Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, CQRS patterns
- Cloud Messaging Technologies (Azure Service Bus, Amazon SQS/SNS)
- Java programming and business intelligence
- Functional programming
- Java, Scala and Kafka and Snowflake
