Job Responsibilities
- Lead a growing DevOps organization and provide technology leadership.
- Manage through multiple levels of management. Coach DevOps leaders and provide strategic vision.
- Ensure a culture and system is in place to deliver high quality, high availability, highly reliable, scalable and secure systems.
- Champion operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement across the group.
- Drive automation and cost-optimization efforts in an environment supporting dozens of software products with thousands of virtual servers.
- Work with internal auditors and security teams to ensure security and compliance in a highly regulated environment.
- Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability.
- Cultivate and motivate top talent.
- BS in Computer Science, MS desirable
- 15+ years of progressive technology experience with 5+ years in a leadership function
- 9+ years of experience in managing Linux based infrastructure
- 7+ years of broad and deep AWS experience, GCP experience a plus
- Experience managing compliance obligations and coordinating with internal risk management teams. Experience managing GDPR, CCPA or Digital Responsibility programs a plus.
- Experience with Docker-based containerization platforms/frameworks. AWS ECS and/or EKS a big plus
- Knowledge of Java/JVM based languages.
- Experience with large scale cloud computing environments
