As part of the Global Technology Platform Program Management organization, this role will be a crucial enabler of our developer productivity strategy. This role will be accountable for successfully driving the execution of strategic initiatives to accelerate enterprise-wide developer experience and enablement services. You will also own critical workstreams for defining and monitoring development metrics, overseeing core devops solutions, and delivering product roadmap commitments. You will work collaboratively with product management and engineering teams to ensure on time delivery with quality results.

About the Global Technology Platform Program Management Team:
The Global Technology Platform Program Management Team focuses on the execution of strategic initiatives in Global Technology Platform organization with alignment to Walmart Global Technology vision and direction. The team owns the execution rhythm to deliver high quality outcomes based on product roadmaps. The team also drives for organization transformation with Agile methodology.

Key responsibilities:
  • Leads and coordinates multi-functional (e.g. Product, Engineering, Operations) groups to drive the strategic business goals alignment
  • Define and execute plans for priority initiatives and product enhancement in an agile environment
  • Define and drive product and service execution rhythms
  • Develop and drive clear, iterative roadmaps in a highly matrixed environment across the overall enterprise
  • Demonstrate a passion for details with the ability to ideate and problem solve actively with business leaders, product, and engineering stakeholders
  • Own and drive stakeholder engagements for the quarterly planning process, KPI definition, executive updates, and agile practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field, such as computer science, or engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of total work experience in a combination of technology development, program management, business analysis or strategy
  • Minimum of 3 years of team leadership experience and cross-functional influence
  • Working knowledge in product development concepts: DevOps Infrastructure, CI/CD Tools, Cloud platforms, Frameworks/Integrations, Accelerators and Best Practices
  • Working knowledge in front end web platforms, portal development technologies
  • Capable of managing numerous stakeholders, anticipating their needs, and gaining alignment for strategies from executive level stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills (oral, verbal and listening) as well as the ability to influence key decision makers and understand their points of view
  • Strong leadership, negotiation and execution skills with the ability to drive results, deliver and excel, and own it when you don’t
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, growing environment and work well with ambiguity
  • Comfortable presenting to and persuading at Vice Presidential and Senior Vice-Presidential levels
  • Proven ability to drive results, especially in a matrixed or influence based environment
  • Understands, describes and navigates existing work and makes recommendations with a clear sense of organizational impact
